Despite being up two sets on host Liberty, Parkland couldn't finish out the third set nor the match as Liberty came roaring back to take the match in 5 sets 3-2 (19-25, 21-25, 27-25, 25-15, 15-13). Liberty's athletic front row gave the Trojans fits all night as they appeared to touch every Trojan swing.
Next up for the Trojans is another big match with Nazareth on Wednesday night at Springhouse MS. JV will start at 5:30pm and Varsity around 6:30pm.

Despite a slow start at the Koller Classic, the Trojans picked things up at the end of pool play and into the playoffs, finishing the day 9th. In pool play the Trojans dropped both sets to Dallastown and Chambersburg while splitting with Maplewood and Montour. The 2-6 record put the Trojans into 4th place which put them into a 1st round matchup with #8 AAA Pennsbury who finished 5th in the Power Pool which consisted of Pennsbury (#8 AAA), Emmaus (#4 AAA), North Allegheny (#1 AAA), Hempfield (#2 AAA), Central York (#5 AAA). The Trojans took the quick set 15-13. That put the Trojans into the second round against Cumberland Valley (#3 AAA) which saw the Trojans fall 25-13 to end the day. Northeastern (#1 AA) went on to take their first ever Koller Classic title over Cumberland Valley 25-23, 25-21 in the final.

For the second straight match, Parkland found itself on the losing end, this time to District 1 powerhouse Pennridge 3-0 (25-16, 28-26, 25-18). The lose drops the Trojans to 7-2 on the season.
Next up for the Trojans is the prestigious Koller Classic on Saturday. Their initial pool consists of Dallastown, Chambersburg, Montour, and Maplewood. Play begins Saturday morning at 8:30am with the Trojans taking the court around 10:00am.

Up two sets and down 22-19 in the 3rd set, Noah Moreef went back and served 6 start points to close out the match 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-22) over a very scrappy Freedom team. The win improves the Trojans to 7-0 on the season. Seth Fine dished out 24 assists, and 2 aces while Noah Moreef registered 10 kills, 1 ace, 1 block, and 5 digs. Derek Hockenberry added 10 kills, 2 aces, and 11 digs.
Next up for the Trojans is a match-up at rival Emmaus on Tuesday (4/17). JV is set to begin at 5:00pm with Varsity beginning around 6:15pm.

Northampton gave Parkland all they could handle on Tuesday night, extending the Trojans to 5 sets before Parkland prevails 3-2 (30-32, 25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 15-11) to improve to 6-0 on the season. Leading the way for Parkland was Derek Hockenberry who had 13 kills and 3 aces. JT Siggins came through with 11 kills and 2 blocks. Defensively, the Iacobelli twins combine for 43 digs (Logan 23, Ben 20) while Seth Fine directed the offense with 52 assists while adding 2 blocks.
Next up for the Trojans is Thursday (4/12) when they host Freedom at Springhouse MS. JV will begin at 5:30pm with Varsity starting around 6:45pm.
