2013 LVIAC Champions!
On Wednesday night, Whitehall High School was the site of the 2013 LVIAC Championship between Bethlehem Catholic and Parkland.  The gym was packed which provided the two teams an incredible atmosphere.  The teams returned the favor to the crowd, giving them an incredibly well played and emotionally charged match.  In the end, Parkland earned the title as 2013 LVIAC Champions with a 3-1 (25-17, 19-25, 25-15, 25-21) win over the Golden Hawks.  Parkland started the match on fire, racing out to a 17-9 lead.  Becahi responded in the same manner, running away with the second set.  Parkland settled in and grabbed the next two sets to claim the title.  The Trojans defense was once again lead by Aaron Silverstein, Dan Ventura and Chris Schweikert who kept the Trojans offense running smoothly, making setters Alec Dougherty and Micheal Lewis' job a little easier.  Tyler Phifer and Derrick Rice came up huge for the Trojans as he was able to slow down Becahi's big middles.
