Open gym on Dec 18th has been CANCELED because of early dismissal all buildings are closing at 3:00 pm. We will continue our normal schedule in January. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday break.
Open gym on Dec 11th has been CANCELED because of a school activity in the main gym that night and basketball teams needing the Aux Gym for practice. Next week we are back to the normal 5:30-7:30 pm timeslot.

The 2023-24 boys' volleyball open gyms have been scheduled. They will be held every Monday, starting Nov 6th, and run through the end of February. They will not be held on days when school is closed (over break or holidays) or if school is let out early (early dismissal for weather).
A meeting has been scheduled for Monday, October 30th from 3:00-3:30 pm in the PHS cafeteria for any boys in grades 9-12 interested in playing volleyball. The meeting will cover open gym times and dates and other information related to tryouts (March 4-6, 2024).

There have been a lot of questions regarding "who was better" when comparing the 2015 and 2023 teams. Comparisons are all opinions, so I will throw out some facts proving how similar these teams were. The one thing that is for sure is that each team's senior classes left Parkland on a high note which will last forever. The 2015 senior class consisted of Sean Lewis, Jake Hauser, Loren Skinker, and Matt Kiser. The 2023 seniors were Chase Robbins and Isaac Uthappan.
