Headline: Trojans advance to DXI Semi with sweep of Nazareth Posted: 5/20/2025 @ 8:56:31 PM Info: #5 Parkland traveled to #4 Nazareth on Tuesday night for a big District XI AAA Quarterfinal matchup for the right to face #1 Emmaus on Thursday. Parkland started out hot, racing out to an early lead before seeing a 24-20 lead disappear. When the last point fell in set one, Parkland earned the 26-24 win. That win helped propel the Trojans to the 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-23) win.
Thursday's semifinals are set with #2 Whitehall vs #3 Freedom at 5:00 PM and #1 Emmaus vs #5 Parkland at 7:00 PM. Both matches will be held at Catasauqua High School.

Headline: Trojans fall to Green Hornets in dramatic fashion Posted: 5/14/2025 @ 7:36:39 AM Info: In an EPC Semifinal match to remember, Emmaus was able to outlast the Trojans in a five-set marathon, taking the match 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 16-14). The win moves Emmaus into the EPC Final, where they will face #2 seed Whitehall, a 3-0 (27-25, 25-22, 25-19) winner over #3 Nazareth. The EPC Final will be held on Thursday, May 15th at 6:00 pm at Allen HS. Before the match, all EPC 1st Team All-Stars will be honored, which includes Parkland's Josh Nation (Sr. OH), who was named the EPC MVP by the coaches.

Next up for the Trojans is the District XI AAA tournament, where they will most likely travel to #4 Nazareth. The official District XI AAA bracket will be released after the EPC Final because the EPC champion earns the automatic #1 seed in the District tournament.

Headline: Parkland gets revenge over Freedom in EPC Quarterfinal Posted: 5/8/2025 @ 8:40:59 PM Info: In a very evenly played EPC Quarterfinal match, Parkland was able to shake off a third-set collapse to earn the four set win over host #4 seed Freedom 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 24-26, 26-24). Josh Nation (Sr. OH) proved why he was named EPC MVP earlier this week by leading the Trojans with 19 kills while added 2 blocks. Alex Schoch (Sr. MH) put up a wall all night collecting 5 blocks while added 9 kills. Owen Barnett (So. L) seemed to be everywhere finishing with a team high 13 digs. Gabe Chase (Jr. S) handed out 42 assists and 2 blocks.
Next up for the Trojans is the EPC Semifinal against #1 seed Emmaus. The match will begin at 7:00pm or after the #2 Whitehall vs #3 Nazareth (3-2 winner over #6 Dieruff) match ends. The Whitehall vs Nazareth match starts at 5:00. The EPC Semifinals will be held at Allen HS and will be aired LIVE on SENetwork on Channel 50 at 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Headline: Hornets down Parkland in regular season finale Posted: 5/1/2025 @ 7:19:02 AM Info: On Wednesday night, Emmaus and Parkland faced off in the last regular-season match for both teams. Emmaus, currently ranked 7th in the state in AAA, flexed its muscle in the 3-1 win (25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 25-17) to secure the #1 spot in the upcoming EPC tournament. Statistically, Josh Nation (Sr. OH) led the offense with 14 kills while Bear Jacobs (Jr. MH) added 8 kills, 2 blocks, while teammates Nick Bauer (Sr. OH) added 7 kills and Jude Ruisch (Jr. OPP) added 6 kills. Gabe Chase (Jr. S) handed out 30 assists and added 9 digs while Owen Barnett (So. L) also added 9 digs.
Parkland falls to 11-5 and awaits the EPC meeting to determine EPC seeding. The Trojans could be either the 3, 4, or 5 seed. The EPC Quarterfinals will be held Thursday, May 8th at a location and time TBA.

The win moves Parkland to 11-4 (9-2 EPC). Josh Nation (Sr. OH) hammered 12 kills while Bear Jacobs (Jr. MH) and Alex Schoch (Sr. MH) combined for 11 kills. Gabe Chase (Jr. S) handed out 27 assists while Owen Barnett (So. L) and Nick Bauer (Sr. OH) each had 7 digs.
Next up for the Trojans is their regular season finale at home against #4 AAA Emmaus. JV is set to begin at 5:30pm with Varsity starting around 6:45pm.

Headline: Parkland earns huge win over Nazareth Posted: 4/25/2025 @ 11:20:01 AM Info: In a battle of two of the EPC's top teams, Parkland earned a tough win over Nazareth on Thursday night 3-1 (25-21. 25-21, 26-28, 25-19). The win moves Parkland to 10-4 overall (8-2 EPC).
Leading the way for Parkland was Josh Nation (Sr. OH) with 21 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 9 digs. Nick Bauer (Sr. OH) added 8 kills and 9 digs. Bear Jacobs (Jr. MH) added 6 kills while Jude Ruisch (Jr. OPP) and Alex Schoch (Sr. MH) each added 5 kills.
Defensively, Owen Barnet (So. L) 9 digs and Gave Chase (Jr. S) collected 15 digs while dishing out 38 assists.
Next up for the Trojans is their final regular-season road match at Northampton on Monday. JV will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Varsity starting around 6:15 p.m.
