The AA list will be released soon.
The 2019 District XI Senior All-Star match featured 16 of the best volleyball players in the area and pitted former teammates against each other and rivals on the same side of the net. What began as a very tight match, ended the same way as Team 1 (White) took the first two sets 27-25, 28-26 before Team 2 (Gray) took the next two 25-17, 25-19. The fifth and deciding set was another close set before Team 1 finished it off for the 15-11 win.
The program with uniform #s, set scores and a picture of the players can be found below.
Good luck to all graduates as they go onto the next chapter in their lives.

In a tough first-round matchup for the Trojans, Parkland was downed by state-powerhouse and #1 AAA Central York 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-20). The loss drops the Trojans to 16-6. The young Trojans hung tight with the Panthers early in set 1, racing out to a 5-2 lead but Central York showed why they are primed and ready for another state title run as they responded with some very timely and quick kills to grab set 1. Sets 2 and 3 were similar in fashion as the Trojans showed great play early and late in the second and third sets before CY finished things off for the sweep.
Every player on the roster saw the court, including the freshman and sophomores who were called up at the end of the season. Evan Hobart took advantage of the opportunity and collected 6 kills while Ian Dahukewich added 5 kills and 2 blocks.
The end of the 2019 season means the end of our 4 seniors high school careers. We cannot thank them enough for helping guide the underclassmen back into the District XI final and the PIAA tournament. Rylan Nemesh, Ian Dashukewich, Seth Fine, and Ryan Parry will be missed for everything they brought to the program on the court but mostly for the leadership and mentorship then provided everyone. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
Congratulations to Whitehall and Bethlehem Catholic who each won their 1st round matches and advanced to the PIAA Quarterfinals which will be held Saturday. Times and locations to be announced soon.
