The Parkland Trojans will defend their state title in boys volleyball after beating Central York in the PIAA Class 3A semifinals on Tuesday.

Parkland (20-3) won in straight sets, 25-21, 25-19, 27-25, to set up a rematch of last year’s championship match with District 7 champion Shaler (19-1).

Parkland, the two-time reigning District 11 champion, beat Shaler a year ago in the final 25-15, 25-18, 25-17 to finish the season 23-0.

Saturday’s championship match is at 1:30 p.m. at Penn State’s Recreation Hall.

Shaler advanced to this year’s championship match by beating Warwick 25-16, 25-15, 25-23.
