Emmaus lands four on District 11 All-State boys volleyball team

Out of the six players named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association’s boys volleyball all-state District XI team, four were from Emmaus High School.

Seniors Noah Bacon (outside hitter) and Brendan Dunkle (libero) and juniors James Haag (outside hitter) and Cameron Parsons (setter) all represent Emmaus on the All-State team.

Parsons was selected as The Morning Call’s player of the year.

The Hornets, which were chosen as The Morning Call’s team of the year, won the District 11 Class 3A title before advancing to the PIAA tournament where they lost in the semifinals to eventual state champion Central York.

Joining the four Hornets on the District 11 team are Whitehall’s senior outside hitter Logan McGinley, who was also named all-state in 2016, and Parkland’s senior outside hitter Garrett Weigel.
